Stop Growing Up I say!!!

Scream!!! I've come to many realizations during the past few weeks. Here are some of them.

1. I am clinically insane and should be caged. Wait... don't I mention this in every post? Part of the insanity (that and the drooling).
2. I really, really love my job as a mom..... although I think my son is re-thinking his choice to stand in my line in heaven... but I think I've posted that before too.
3. We spend our entire lives wanting to be older, until we're OLD, and then we wish everything would just SLOW DOWN!!!

My piddley little newborn baby boy is piddley no longer. He is CHUNKA. 'BUBBA THE CHUBBA.' Squishy everywhere. He went to the doctor this week and is already 16 pounds. I feed him nachos on the side, but don't tell.

The kid never ceases to amaze me. He is just so happy to be alive and explore the world around him. One thing is for sure and he is a friggin wiggler! He will NOT stay still. He likes to stand (with help of course), sit up, roll over, crabwalk.... you name it. He is just 3 months and he has learned to scoot. Not kidding. He pivots constantly on the ground and never stays in the same place that we put him down. I told you before... he really is a Ninja that WILL give Mr. Norris a run for his money. Prepare for Carter, Utah Ranger.

Realization 4: The Bumbo is my best friend. I never even heard of these things until my friend Di mentioned it. It sits him up so I don't have to. Now I have two hands free to... eat, pick my nose, and whatever I want!
Realization 5: He might be growing up fast... but it can only get better. We love him more every day and I always look forward to what he learns next!
Oh, and I realized I just ate an entire bag of Reeses. Oh, poop.

Bumbo's rock! I finally broke down and got one on baby #3 and I seriously wonder how I lived without it for so long. They are great up until they learn to crawl out of them. But you have a good 6 months hopefully. As far as him growing up too fast don't fret over it. I know you worked so hard for this little blessing to come and you want him to stay a baby forever, but believe me when I say it only gets better. Just enjoy ever stage as they come then you don't look back wondering where all the time went. Because you are still enjoying where you are at. I am not kidding when I say 4 + years old is awesome. I love it when they can talk and reason, dress themselves, and potty trained. Maybe that makes me a lazy Mom, but I love having bigger kids. Just wait you may just feel the same.

Aren't Bumbos the best!! He looks so darling in it! I want to squish him! When are we hanging out again? That was so much fun! I'm sorry if it wasn't for you... my kids are NUTS! Kevin was a little sick, I'm so sorry about that. I hope you and Carter didn't catch anything. Such is the life of a mom. So, how are you liking LOST?!

Man oh man, can I just come give him a big smoooch!!! Love him! Good on you for the jillian michaels thing. I have got to get motivated and loose my flab. Trav actually pinched my tire around my mid section yesterday. I quickly informed him that it was so not okay. And he would regret it if he ever did that again. He though he was funny, and I so did not agree. You are gorgeous, and i love her family picture.

I've never had a Bumbo...hmm, that looks like a life saver. And I know I say it a lot, but that Carter is just the cutest little ninja ever!

You are so funny! I agree about the getting old thing- we have recently discovered we are old farts at our house and don't like it!!
I love the bumbo also it is the best! We still use our and our baby is 15 months. We bought the tray that snaps on and we take it to restaurants with us and etc. She loves to sit in it. We just keep it in the back of the car and use it at our parents house and etc. when a highchair is not available. They are truly the best! The tray helps keep them in when they are bigger and can get out. I take it with us to my meetings for work and it keeps her contained and then I give her crayons.
You are such a cute mom! Take care!!
